Course objectives

o Identify different types of waste and find practical ways to reduce it

o Practice with the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)

o Experience the impact of variation and try ways to measure and reduce it

o Differentiate between dependent and independent variables

o Learn to ask the right questions to get to the root cause of problems

o Find ways to avoid defects/ problems before they occur

o Apply lean/ six sigma tools to participants’ specific processes
